Brief rundown of the week (more details later)
1. Played pool in Singapore
2. Met the Mayor of Borneo's capital within hours of arriving
3. Had ice cream with Nigerians at McDonald's
4. Watched bollywood movies
5. Hung out with the most famous tattoo artist in Borneo (possibly all of southeast asia. Watch "Taboo: Tatoos" on National Geographic and you'll see him)
6. Had Turkish coffee
7. Listened to the call to prayer while watching the sunset over the river
8. Stayed up til after 3am listening to native musicians
9. Folder paper boats at a buddhist temple
10. Escaped from the rain in a Hindu temple
11. Realized the building by the police station is actually a Sikh temple
12. Had junior high girls tell me about Jesus

SIngopore is a place you don't mess around in for sure. I am curious if they still have the law against stepping on a coin that hits the ground? Seems like I remember hearing that. I think it was because the currency had royal figures on it.
Also one of my friends made a couple of trips to a base there. He took a picture of a sign that very easy to read. The sign depicted a man climbing a fence while another man was shooting him in the back.
Well, my sister told me to check out your blog. Very interesting. I wish I could have explored more of the the countries I have been in. I was always there for work, hardly ever any time to play. Most of my exploring was from inside military aircraft or from within the confines of concrete/chain link fence fortifications.
Glad you are getting a chance to enjoy our environment before all six billion of us consume it.
